Free Motion Quilting... Yikes!

I practiced and practiced


and then i stepped off into the deep end.


I questioned myself and reconsidered several times.
Even as i started i told myself...
you can always pull the thread out.


I kept going 


I'm still not sure if i like it
but i think i'll keep going.

Quilt Love @ Quiltcon

Some of my favorite quilts at Quiltcon were quilted by Angela Walters... A truly amazing machine quilter.  This quilt in particular really is astounding!  Makes me want to brush up on my free-motion quilting skills.

I think I have to buy her book and get started on learning how to be an amazing quilter and stop focusing on being an amazing piecer. ;)
